Pacific Fusion Opens New Mexico Build Center, Advancing the Future of Clean Energy

Today marked a major milestone for New Mexico’s advanced energy sector as Pacific Fusion, alongside the Village of Los Lunas, celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the company’s New Mexico Build Center. The 200,000-square-foot facility will manufacture critical components for Pacific Fusion’s fusion energy system, reinforcing the state’s role at the forefront of clean-energy innovation. From cutting-edge research to advanced manufacturing, this site reflects the momentum building across New Mexico’s energy ecosystem.
With equipment already moving in, hiring underway, and production beginning on components for Pacific Fusion’s Demonstration System, the project is expected to generate more than 200 high-wage jobs and deliver over $1.2 billion in statewide economic impact over the next decade.
